The Anthills (2022) tells a story about my encounter with an anthill in nature and how I try to recall it through archival images found in an online, open-source library. It reflects the limitation of representing a tangible experience through virtual imagery while noticing the fundamental importance of images in personal remembrances.

It raises a question in our digital society where a physical object/experience is replaced with a virtual substitute that can be easily fabricated. A note indicating the absence of the tangible referent stimulates the audience’s imagination and leads their attention towards it.
