Phantom Teeth (2024) is a virtual land of wisdom teeth where users can interact with digital elements. This exploration discovers how archives evoke memory of lived experiences. They are laid where the past and present are linked, opening up a portal that leads us to the memory. This project highlights the notion of phantom pain and the relationship between physicality and virtuality, connecting the idea of placeholder to absent teeth and a digital archive of X-rays.

This collaborative project was presented in the online exhibition Search History and opened to the public with the physical opening & artist talk at Stichting WEP (Groningen, NL).
